Background/Research: CBearsEarrings specializes in unique handcrafted earrings. CBearsEarrings is located in Upland, California and ran by Kathy Claire.
Objective: Rebrand CBearsEarrings into a fun, groovy, pink toned brand.
Target Audience: Ages from 16 - 28 years old who enjoy adding a unique spin to their accessories. Ideally those who enjoy fashion, are up to date on the latest memes, and are into pop culture.
Challenges: Incorporating a hand drawn illustration with clean line work of earrings and a bear. Another challenge faced was pairing the illustration with a groovy styled type.
Solution: Create a bear wearing earrings that CBearEarrings currently offer and create a custom type. Took attributes of IvyJournal Bold and Freehouse Regular, added some roundness and flow, and then finished the design up with some offsets to make the logo stand out over the liquid pink pattern.
