For this project, I was instructed to create a mobile language learning app of our choosing using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD.
Background/Research: For my mobile application, I researched into Duolingo's application. I also researched into the Spanish language and themes that could have longevity for an app.
Objective: Create a planetal themed application called "Estrella" to teach users how to speak Spanish.
Target Audience: Mobile users of ages 10+ who are wanting to learn Spanish in a vibrant, fun, and interactive way.
Challenges: A major challenged faced was keeping the planetal theme consistent throughout the application. A minor challenge was wanting the cards to flip.
Solution: I created a planetary family and menu for the flashcards to go with the theme. I also found a way to flip the cards to give the user an illusion of flashcards.
